Mushrooms + Rice: tasty, easy, quick!



I honestly can’t think of a recipe easier or faster than this one!
Minimal ingredients, amazing flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • About 30 king mushrooms (or any mushrooms you like), thinly sliced
  • 2 cups basmati rice
  • Salt, to taste
  • 3 cups water

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a pot over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté for a few minutes until they soften.
  2. Add the basmati rice and salt. Stir well to coat the rice with the mushroom flavor.
  3. Pour in the water, cover the pot, and bring to a boil.
  4. Once boiling, reduce to low heat and cook until all the water is absorbed.
  5. Turn off the heat and leave the pot covered for another 5 minutes to let the rice steam and become fluffy.

Serve and enjoy!
