Mushrooms + Rice: tasty, easy, quick!

I honestly can’t think of a recipe easier or faster than this one!
Minimal ingredients, amazing flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- About 30 king mushrooms (or any mushrooms you like), thinly sliced
- 2 cups basmati rice
- Salt, to taste
- 3 cups water
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a pot over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté for a few minutes until they soften.
- Add the basmati rice and salt. Stir well to coat the rice with the mushroom flavor.
- Pour in the water, cover the pot, and bring to a boil.
- Once boiling, reduce to low heat and cook until all the water is absorbed.
- Turn off the heat and leave the pot covered for another 5 minutes to let the rice steam and become fluffy.
