Quinoa Tortillas – Gluten Free



A Delicious & Easy Bread Alternative

Looking for a healthy, tasty substitute for bread? These quinoa tortillas are simple to make and packed with nutrition!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup quinoa
  • 1.5 cups water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a strong blender (I use a Vitamix), blend the quinoa with 1 cup of water, olive oil, and salt for a few seconds.
  2. Add the remaining ½ cup of water and blend again until smooth and liquid in texture.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat.
  4. Once hot, pour a large spoonful of the batter into the pan and spread it gently into a round tortilla shape.
  5. Cook until lightly browned on one side, then flip and cook the other side.
  6. Serve with all your favorite tortilla toppings: avocado, roasted veggies, spreads, dips – or enjoy it on its own!
